Close-up on the creation of Hyperion, the musical boss of Returnal
It has become a habit, the PlayStation Blog shares with us some information about the creation of games (often exclusive) via interviews and discussions with the designers. Today it’s Returnal’s turn and a pretty cool boss: Hyperion.

The post explains how the environment was designed to fit the music in this biome as well as the fight itself which is completely consistent with the music.
I will confess that I only met him once and beat him in the process, so some parts of the article make me discover things I missed (forever it seems if I understood correctly, because once beaten the atmosphere of the biome changes).
