We had to wait for the Opening Night Live of the Gamescom 2021 for Xbox to give us all the information about Halo Infinite. If players will note on their calendar the date of December 8, 2021. This is indeed the day when Halo Infinite (its single player campaign mode and its free-to-play multiplayer mode) will be released, but there were other surprises.

As good news never comes alone, we had the opportunity to discover two items for players/collectors.

For the 20th anniversary of the franchise, Xbox presented us with a new version of their controller, the Halo Infinite Limited Edition Elite Series 2 controller, as well as an Xbox Series X Halo Infinite console that will be released on December 15, 2021.

If we could expect a limited edition controller (as with Forza Horizon 5), the console is completely unexpected. The controller uses the MasterChief color codes with the 117 inscribed on the front and the place where the Major places his AI on the back of the controller.

For the console, we abandon the green emblematic of the Xbox for a blue very “Cortana” with a beautiful galaxy effect. And it comes with a collector controller too!

If you want to get these items that are in limited editions, you will have to turn to the Microsoft Store and Micromania (for the XSX).

I leave you with pictures (renders) of the controller, the console and the accessories that will come with the release of the game (a Razer Kaira Pro headset and the famous Seagate hard drive).
