The Z Event 2020 raised a record amount of 5.7 million euros for Amnesty International with more than 2.5 million spectators
The last weekend was placed under the sign of donations with the 2020 edition of Z EVENT. The must-see streaming event organized by Zerator and Dach for the benefit of Amnesty International once again mobilized streamers, viewers and players for more than 50 hours of live.
While some thought this year’s ZEVENT would be a failure, it once again managed to raise a record amount of donations. With more than 50 streamers, 660,000 peak viewers and no less than 120,000 t-shirts sold on the store, this is once again a success thanks to the organizers and thanks to you (if you have watched or donate).
That’s no less than 5,724,377 euros obtained in 55 hours, a new record for the Twitch platform for a charitable event, all over the world.
You can visit the Amnesty International France website to discover the various actions carried out daily by the association around the world.
If you missed it or if you weren’t able to follow all the streamers, you can of course find the clips of the event on this page of the ZEVENT website (very good passages, notably with Phasmophobia or some donations goals).
I also invite you to discover the photo album of the event on Zerator’s Facebook account. And at the bottom of this article, Emmanuel Macron’s annual tweet congratulating the ZEVENT team (because they deserve it).
