Alan Wake has a special place in the hearts of the fans, in the Remedy team’s heart and of course in mine. So it’s with a lot of enthusiasm that I discovered like you the trailer for Alan Wake 2 broadcasted during The Game Awards show.
We know that the game will be released in 2023 on all new gen platforms, but we have to admit that if we hoped that the sequel of AW would be released, we didn’t know when it would be. And I was a bit worried that it would be an Epic Game Store exclusive without a console release.
Remedy shares with us this week a short video that allows us to live this announcement with Sam Lake, a rather magical moment that you can only live when you are part of the team that develops the game usually.

Alan Wake 2
The plot takes place thirteen years after the first installment and the disappearance of the famous writer Alan Wake. This second installment is presented as a psychological survival horror game in third-person view, and again features Alan Wake, but also FBI agent Saga Anderson, in two distinct stories that can be played in any order chosen by the player.
