What happened to the 32 PS5 games that represented PlayStation’s future in 2020?
A little over a year ago, Sony unveiled the PlayStation 5 during an online conference. Indeed, it was on June 11, 2020 that we discovered for the first time the games that would be released on the next-gen console, but also the physics of this home console.
We had to wait until September 16, 2020 for the Japanese giant to finally give us the most coveted information: the price of the console and especially its release date of November 12, 2020 (2 months later).
It’s a good time to take a look back at what PlayStation presented to us with these two major conferences. If the console was released as planned, what about the games and features?
Absent from the list is the impossibility of adding an internal SSD for the moment. The system update is overdue, but that’s the only black spot on the board as far as the console’s OS is concerned.
These two conferences introduced us to 32 games on PlayStation 5 and to date :
– 15 have already been released
– 11 are planned for 2021
We are going to watch these two conferences and make a listing of the games with a point on the releases, starting with the games already available, and those we are still waiting for.
